Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

#WhatsExclusive: Aaliyah's Family Learns About Her Secret Marriage With R. Kelly On Lifetime Biopic:

Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B is still on, and the cast is getting ready for promotion with the biopic, to help get it out there. Recently, the biopic has caught a lot of hate, due to many reasons. One main reason is because it's being produced by Wendy Williams. Another reason is because the family doesn't approve, and lastly, ..... The fans. The fans think Aaliyah deserves more than a little biopic on LifeTime.

Anyway, there's not much the fans of Aaliyah can do, since the movie is still happening, and will be airing on November 15th. An exclusive clip was released this evening of Youtube, of a heated scene from the movie. In the scene, Aaliyah's parents are upset when they learn about her marriage with R. Kelly.

The clip didn't get me interesting in really wanting to see the movie. That may be because I'm just not a big fan of Aaliyah, but even the big fans of Aaliyah aren't impressed by this biopic yet. Most of this stuff isn't factual either. It's mainly someone else's point of view, on how they imagined it. Also, in the clip, I think I saw a little booger getting ready to fall out of the mom's nose. (Aaliyah's mom in the biopic) It's around the 0:42 mark. (Just saying... I caught it)

Scenes like this, are usually the scenes that make me drop the popcorn bowl, cause I'm a little shocked or scared, but I didn't get much emotion from the actors. Take a look at the exclusive clip below for yourself:
