Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Iggy Azalea Teases "Heavy Crown" Featuring Ellie Goulding + Azalea's Songwriting Skills As An Artist:

It doesn't look like Iggy Azalea will be picking any new singles from her upcoming album, "Reclassified" soon, so Iggy just plans to keep teasing tracks on Youtube.

On the 12th, she teased the opening track on her album, "Reclassified," titled, "We In This Bi**h." Like I said earlier, it actually wasn't a bad song, like I expected, but this new track, definitely needs to be removed.

Iggy teased her new track, "Heavy Crown" featuring Ellie Goulding. Her style is starting to become very similar to Ariana's. They always release their collaborations on their album as singles instead of solo tracks. There's not a problem with that, but sometimes it's almost like, you feel a different way about the artist. Like, they aren't confident enough to release a solo track. Judging just by the teaser of this track, nothing about it says single-material. I couldn't even imagine her putting this on the album. It's not so horrible, that I just had to close my ears while playing it, but it's close enough. Ellie Goulding happens to be a favorite of my friend at Word To Your Music's, and though our music taste can be similar at times, she seemed to be the main problem with this track. She has a unique voice tone, but it just wasn't what I wanted to hear. It seemed as if her voice was really raspy, or she was cracking in the song. I honestly can't say much about that.

...... Anyways

The rap verses were very dull. I think she needs to find better songwriters, like Harmony Samuels or ... a better producer like Mike Will Made It. Wikipedia claims she writes all the tracks on this album, and if that's really the case, she doesn't seem to be a great writer, and neither is "The Invisible Men." (Weird, his name is The Invisible Men, since people say Iggy Azalea has a ghostwriter)

Let me stop.. Take a listen to Iggy's teaser for "Heavy Crown" below:
