Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

It's rare that we ever get pictures from Janet Jackson, but earlier today Janet Jackson released a few snapshots on twitter, from her visit at the UNICEF Zaatari Camp.

Janet wrote on twitter saying, "Today we begin our journey to the children with @UNICEF. Wissam and Janet." I must admit, with Janet being married with Wissam, I feel she has really toned down her look. I felt like she was trying hard during the earlier years in her career, but while this pictures are very refreshing and adorable, I'm sure what everyone is really wondering about is the reuturn for some new Janet music. (Lol) It's always good to see an artist taking action, and doing supportive things outside of music, which is why Janet is possibly one of the most influential and kindest artist ever.

Anyway, no word has been released on Janet's return. She's kept that very private, but Janet came out her shell some months ago, when snapshots were released of her at the amfAR charity gala in Dubai. Like I said, we rarely get snapshots of the 48 year old singer, but I have a little feeling that she plans on releasing the album soon. Many people on Janet's team have released a lot of hints, and statements about how excited they're with this new project. Some sources also released that she plans to be on the "X Factor" soon to help promote her album. All I have to say is, as long as we get a decent quality album, it was worth the wait, because I know Janet is gonna go hard on the promotion, of this project, which means more spectacular performances. For now, I guess we'll just be listening to the classics. (which I'm already doing) Take a look at the snapshots below from today.
