Why Is The School Lunch Always Looking Gross?/ + What's Bringing In The Money For Schools?
Let me tell you something about school lunches. The least they could do is make their lunch edible. I mean, they want us kids, to buy the school lunches, so they can help bring in money for the school, but that's not gonna happen if they don't choose to at least make their school lunches look edible. I go in the cafteria, and look at the lunches, and it looks like they barely tried to make it look good. They know many people judge by the cover, and judging by the look of the food, it doesn't look healthy. Now, it's not that I don't like eating healthy. I eat plenty of apples and broccoli. It's just that, not every kid is like me, and schools don't know how to cook. What's something I love the most? Spaghetti. My school's spaghetti is the worst. It's like they take it, put it in a bowl of water, take it out after some hours, and call it a meal. NOT! Now come on, you hear every week that Ms. Michelle Obama is working together to help make the lunches better. I love this woman, but something's not adding up! I know she doesn't approve of this mess, and here's another thing. Who serves Corn Dogs for Breakfast? I don't care how many healthy posters are around my cafteria, the custodians aren't following. I'm thinking about trying to talk with the school board about adding Fried Chicken, good mac n' cheese, and sweet tea. They should be teaching kids to have a better self-esteem. Why should we being worried about our bodies at such a young age? LOL, I'm just saying though. Now, what's bringing money to the schools? It's the Cookies and Ice Cream. That's about the only thing they have in the cafeteria that's safe to eat. And that's what everyone buys. And honestly half of the people in my grade just buy a few cookies and call that their lunch. Come on now! Let's get some better lunches around here! Chicken, Pizza, Brownies!
PS: You see the picture in the middle above. I have no problem eating that.
