Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Why Friendship Is The Strongest Thing For Life To Offer + How My Friends Gave Me Confidence

I think friendship is the best thing ever. When I first went to school, I never thought of the word "Friends." And I'm so glad I've found friends that I depend on, and trust them to always be there. I have so many memories and I owe all to them. Without them, I don't know where I would be. They build me to be the person I am today. Without them, I wouldn't have had any laughs, or lots of cherished memories. I remember being in 6th grade, and we all went to the baseball field to play kickball, and saw a group of teenagers going by. Knowing my friends, of course they picked on them. Before you know, my friend was sticking up her middle finger at them, and they were jumping over the gate to chase us. I remember being like the first ones to run, and I wasn't even saying anything to them. (Okay, maybe 2 things slipped. LOL) Those are memories I still laugh it. I was Just sitting in class, daydreaming, and it just went across my mind. I know everyone around me thought I was crazy for laughing when there was no joke being heard. It was just memories making me laugh. School is almost over, and I soon hope to have more. (memories) I even made new friends that year too. People I couldn't stand, I actually grew a friendship with them. Thank you ____  (You know who you are.)
