Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Janet Jackson May Be The New Face Of Balmain + Flavor In The Street's Ideas On Janet's Album?

This may be Janet Jackson's start for her comeback! It looks like Janet may be "The New Face of Balmain." That's what the latest Word on The Street is, after Balmain's Creative Designer took to instagram with Janet's iconic rolling stone picture with the caption saying, "Coming Soon."

Hopefully, the Word On The Street is actually true. I think this is a great start for Janet Jackson! Janet Jackson hasn't released a studio album since 2008, and the #JanFam have patiently been waiting.

Now, I know Flavor In The Street hasn't been asked, but here's our ideas on Janet Jackson's new album: Most of her fans have been saying how they miss Janet's "Rhythm Nation" days, but I actually liked her 20 Y.O. album. I think that Janet Jackson is best with R&B. Songs like "Do It 2 Me" and "With U." These songs bring back so many happy memories in my opinion. Also, I really didn't have a problem with Janet's "Discipline" album. I thought it was a great work of art. She has some amazing songs from the album, like "Can't B Good." I'm currently listening to this song, and I just can't get over Janet's harmonies in the song.. She sounds beautiful. Janet should totally work with Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Ne-Yo for her upcoming album. (Jermaine Dupri as well) I know some people can't stand Jermaine, but he makes some good music, which might explain why 20 Y.O. is one of my favorite albums by Janet Jackson.
