Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Kid Ink Releases "Hotel" Featuring Chris Brown + Preps The Release Of "Full Speed" On February 3rd:

Few more weeks until the release of "Full Speed!" Earlier last year, Kid Ink released his leading single, "Body Language, " and now he's on to his next single, "Hotel," featuring Chris Brown. (sighs..)

With Kid Ink planning to release a joint album with Chris Brown, I think it's best if Kid Ink didn't release this track, only because their sound together as artist is tired. It's like as soon, as the release of "Show Mel," all their tracks together have sounded the same. It's like the production to these tracks are getting tired.

What I don't get is how all the tracks these two have did together, are done by different producers, when all the tracks sound the same? With this new track, I feel like it's a similar concept to Chris Brown's previous efforts. We're in a new year, and I was definitely looking forward to a new sound from these two for once. I think it would've been best if Kid Ink release this as the leading single, and then released "Body Language," because based on stream and chart positions, "Body Language" is a stronger single, and it would've done a lot for the album based on the promo. I'm sure many will support this track, since Chris Brown is a "mainstream artist," but I'm just getting tired of these tired beats, and hooks from Breezy. With the new year, I really want Chris Brown to step up his game with his material. It's not exactly him as an artist, but all the latest material I've heard from him has been very vulgar. The single it's self, has received positive reviews, so hopefully, this turns out to be a hit.

Take a listen to "Hotel" below! Be sure to buy "Full Speed" on February 3rd.

UPDATE: At certain portions, I got Kid Ink mixed up with Tyga. They both sound the same anyway. .....Sorry Guys!
