Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Katy Announces Musical Super Bowl Guest, Lenny Kraviz + Wants Him To Have His "Shine" Again:

Katy Perry teased earlier during an interview with AZ Central, that we could be expecting a musical guest to perform with her at the Superbowl Halftime Show.

After the "Firework" singer was asked if she planned on inviting any guest performers, Katy Perry responded saying, "Yes, of course. Everybody does that. And I want to take advantage of that. I want to take advantage of everyone losing it for my special guest. And I have thought about this one for a while. There were a couple of names I tossed around and this one really stuck. I thought OK, it’s time for this person to have their shine again."

She was then asked if she had worked with this artist, and the 30 year old singer replied saying, "Hmmm. That’s funny should ask. Let’s just say I’ve been familiar with them before in a roundabout way. But I can’t give you any more hints than that." Later, Katy announced that this special performer was Lenny Krativz. I guess she gave the perfect description, because he hasn't got his shine as an artist in a while, and last year, he made his return to the music industry. Now, for a moment I was like, this is an odd match, but has anyone notice we have had odd matches before? Take a look back, at last year, when Bruno Mars performed with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, or when Madonna performed with LMFAO.

I honestly don't know much of Lenny's work, nor am I impressed with the work of I've already heard from him, but I would like to see what he brings to the table with his performance with Katy. I could definitely see Katy performing at the Superbowl Halftime, because she has a mixed audience. A lot of people happen to love her music, and she has a fun spirit. Just something we need at the Superbowl. Not saying I would be too interested in watching, but I'm sure she would do great. I'm sure Lenny could bring something to the table with his performance as well. He seems like he could be an interesting performer. Maybe I should give more of his music a try. Well, will you be watching the Superbowl Halftime performance?
