Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

REPORT: Black Eyed Peas To Release New Material This Year.... Without Fergie?/ Fergie Explains:

So, it looks like a Black Eyed Peas album is in the works, celebrating their 20th anniversary. Just one problem.. Fergie won't be contributing to it. Fergie reveals, "I was just in the studio last week and I saw Taboo there, and I heard something Will was doing and it was great. But maybe the guys are doing something? I haven’t been in the group for 20 years, so it’s more their anniversary of being together for 20 years. So maybe they’re putting out an album themselves."

Many are saying that Fergie is currently working on her own studio album, but I feel like they're cutting Fergie out of this, even if she did wanna do it. Maybe Fergie was in the group, during their debut, but she contributed to the group majorly, and gave them their household name as a group. That's like Destiny's Child doing an album with Letoya and LaTavia to celebrate 20 years, instead of Michelle Williams. (even though I prefer Letoya and LaTavia)

Anyway, I thought Black Eyed Peas retired from the music business, but overall, I don't really think it's necessary for a new album. After Will's low sales on his studio album, "#willpower," I can't say I'm really looking forward to what he has to bring to the table with this new Black Eyed Peas album. Most of the material from the group is produced by him, so I'm definitely not looking forward to this. His music tends to sound the same. Maybe it's best if Fergie doesn't join. I'm sure she's best off not joining them on this project. Fergie's new single seems to be doing extremely well on the charts anyways, so Ferge is definitely on the right path as an artist. Well, let's stop beating around the bush, would you buy a Black Eyed Peas album?
