Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Rihanna's Songwriter, Glass John, Says Travis Scott Is To Blame For Anti's Album Delays

Songwriter, Glass John spoke on Twitter about Rihanna’s ‘Anti.’ He also spoke about Travis Scott’s involvement in the album and says that the album has been finished since last year.

I’m not sure whether he was telling the truth or not. It would depend on how involved he is on the album. I read a while ago that Sia said that she was still looking for songs for the album. I only note this, because Glass John wrote that the album has been finished since last year. If that’s true, why are fans still waiting to hear the album? I could only imagine how disappointed fans would be if they didn’t receive the album once the eight room on ‘Anti Diary’ is unlocked. Some fans have come to the conclusion that once the eight room is unlocked, she’ll release the album. I want to know what the truth is. Though he’s a songwriter and producer on the album, it doesn’t exactly mean what he’s saying is true. He should’ve remained professional regarding the situation. Though I’m sure fans were curious to know what was exactly going on with the album, it was none of his business to say. He even wrote Rihanna’s reaction regarding what he was saying about the album and Travis Scott saying, “She just told me she's going to beat my a** for doing this but she still loves me.” I would be very furious, because what Glass John wrote isn’t a good look on Rihanna. It makes it seem as if she’s dependent on Travis. Travis titled the album, said he didn’t want the album to be released on Christmas day, and chose ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ to be a single off the album. As a songwriter or producer, if I’m upset I would leave that between me and whoever I’m upset with. I wouldn’t bring social media into this, and why did he begin to get off-topic later on? He also talked about Chris Brown, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z. This also looks bad on him, because he’s telling the business of some artist he’s worked with. Read his tweets below:
