Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Madonna Announces Album Campaign On... Grindr/ Plans To Give Away A "Rebel Heart" Copy?

Recently, it's been announced that Madonna is on to her newest idea, for her album campaign. It's been confirmed that Madonna has a contest coming soon with "Grindr," which will definitely be interesting. If many of you don't know, Grindr happens to be an online dating site for gays.

With Madonna's recent contest, Madonna is giving fans a chance to chat with her on Grindr. Of course, there's more to the story. In order, to get a chance to possibly chat with Madonna, you have to recreate Madonna's album cover for "Rebel Heart," with yourself as the star. Many had took to twitter, during the release of details on the album cover, as they shared remakes that fans of hers created themselves. (..so it's pretty clear where she got the idea from)

Also, you have to keep #LivingForLove as your hashtag, on the dating site until 11:59PM on February 15th. For 2nd place winners, you get a signed copy of "Rebel Heart," while 3rd place winners, get a free copy of "Rebel Heart." Are we just going to act like the album hasn't already been leaked. That doesn't seem too special at all. 2nd place, I guess we'll do, but Madonna oughta come up with another idea, for her 3rd place winners, as a free copy of "Rebel Heart" just won't do, but that's just my view on this. A chat sounds fun, but on Grindr..? I guess, that'll do, but anyway, I think Madonna's managment are coming up with a creative rollout for this album, despite the recent leaks, but on the other hand, this is looking desperate, which isn't a first for the "Human Nature" entertainer. Grindr was smart, as this will definitely help, in regards for hits for the site, but Madonna is wasting her time, as this won't have much of an impact on her album sales, especially if only three fans will be getting a special gift from her. Do you think Madonna is making the right decision to work with "Grindr" or does she look a little desperado?
