Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Chris Brown Is Banned From Canada, Two Shows Canceled/ Trey Songz Expresses His Frustration?

Recently, Live Nation confirmed that two of Chris Brown's shows in Canada have been canceled due to Immigration issues. Shortly before deleting the tweets, the 25 year old singer wrote, "Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto. The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"

Refunds are now being processed, but for Trey's case, I really don't know what to say. Even with Trey Songz's relationship with Chris Brown, it's never best to do business with friends. If someone has legal issues, I wouldn't wanna do business with them. As for now, I really think Trey Songz is smart business-wise, for making the decision of touring solo later this year, as it seems that this joint tour idea seems to be going downhill. Trey Songz made the announcement, earlier this week, that he would be touring, and releasing new material this year. Of course, with Trey Songz making the decision of touring, it shouldn't be a similar concept as the joint tour with Chris Brown, as I just don't think Trey Songz can fill arenas. I still personally thought the idea, of Chris Brown and Trey Songz touring was smart, as they do seem to have a similar fanbase, based on their likes of music. (To Sum It Up: most likely if you like Trey Songz, you like Chris Brown as well) Possibly if Trey Songz plans on the joint tour idea, he thinks wisely, on who he's doing business with. Considering that I did like the idea of the joint tour, possibly Trey Songz could do it with August Alsina or maybe even Ne-yo. Even if Trey Songz does continue to tour with Chris Brown, it should be clear to Trey Songz, that Chris Brown is really affecting Trey's chance of earning his coins, based on the cancellations of plenty of tour dates. Maybe the main person, Chris Brown should be apologizing to is Trey Songz. And possibly Tyga, if he's still apart of this tour.. Is he? (Even though I said he wasn't needed)

Wonder if he is frustrated with the fact that Canada banned Chris Brown, or that he's losing coins messing with Chris Brown?
