Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Kanye West Apologizes To Beck .... And Bruno Mars/ Claims He Wants To Work With Bruno Mars?

Moments ago, Kanye West took to social media, apologizing for his publicized rant, at the Grammys, as Beck took home the award for Album Of The Year.

Of course, Kanye West isn't a man known for apologizing, which is quite obvious, as it took him almost 3 weeks to apologize. Curious to know why Kanye West took to social media, as opposed to calling him, as he said during his recent interview with "The Breakfast Club." The 37 year old revealed that he had Beck's number, but kept forgetting to apologize. (Sure, your right! NOTE THE SARCASM)

Anyway, Kanye West later went on to apologize to Bruno Mars as well, saying, "I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist." He later revealed, how he would like to work with Bruno Mars on a new track. This seems like a scam to me, and even if it isn't, I wouldn't take the deal.

It seems like too much pressure working with Kanye West. I honestly wouldn't know what to expect. Like, is he the type of guy to possibly rush you in the studio, or is he kind to his collaborators. With all of this being said, I wouldn't mind reading a tell-all book about Kanye West. (lol) Anyway, why apologize at a time, where everyone has moved on? I'm almost not convinced that Kanye wrote this. It had to be his managment, or maybe even Kim.. (lol) This just seems very unprofessional. Not more focused on the apology when I say this, but Kanye West asking if Bruno Mars, could work with him on this track he produced with Puff. Couldn't his team handle this kind of information? Does he expect some kind of DM from Bruno Mars confirming it?

Also, if anything, if Kanye plans on ranting, can he do it on an artist other than Beyonce, and as much slack as the media gives Kim, where is he to defend her? That's just my two cents..
