Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Bobby Brown's Family Will Be Filming Reality Show/ Bobby Brown Announces He Won't Appear?

How low can this situation get? It seems, that a reality show is in the works from Bobby Brown's family, which will center around their personal life, and Bobbi Kristina. TMZ reported the news last week writing, "Sources connected with the production tell TMZ … Bobby’s 2 sisters, brother and their kids are shooting the show about their lives, and part of it will chronicle Bobbi Kristina fighting for her life. Bobby’s lawyer tells TMZ his client will NOT appear on the show." Of course, I automatically thought Bobby Brown would appear on the show as well, as I've always thought of him, as one for the attention. This is definitely a desperate approach for the family, and of course, the media won't think anything else of it. It's been said, that there has been no footage filmed of Bobbi Kristina, but the family will have "regular debriefs at home on camera where they talk about the tragedy."

I couldn't imagine my family doing something as desperate as this. I mean, you almost begin to question yourself about your family. Her family shouldn't be surrounding themselves with this publicity, as it doesn't pertain to them. They seem to already know, the reason they got this deal was due to Bobbi's tragedy, but I still feel they should consider how the family as a whole feels toward this (meaning the Houston family).  Hopefully, they'll have some sense about this.

Bobbi Kristina shouldn't be filmed in this light, if they possibly plan on filming her. It seems, it's money first, and family second, for the Browns. Hopefully, they change their minds on this plan. It's clear if anything, we'll be watching based on how Bobbi Kristina is doing, but in regards to the family themselves, I'll pass. As for the show overall, I'll be passing. Way too much drama, and they ought to do right by Bobby Brown and Bobbi Kristina, and keep it to themselves.

A family shouldn't be this money hungry to do something so low. I guess it's still their prerogative.

Also, I've really seen growth in Bobby Brown, regarding this tragedy. I was  thinking that he would be apart of this reality show. I mean, By using it as a source of promotion for some upcoming New Edition tour. And don't tell me I was the only one thinking it... As for now, how would you feel if your family did a reality show,  pertaining to your tragedy?
