Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Jennifer Lopez Announces Las Vegas Residency/ Plans To Hit Las Vegas In The Beginning Of 2016?

Seems we have a new lady finally heading to Vegas, and that lady would be Jennifer Lopez. The singer has been rumored to hit Vegas for a while, and the singer recently took to 'American Idol' making the announcement, and even said, that she is quite excited for the experience. The singer is said to be performing in Vegas from January 20th - July 12th.

I think a Vegas Residency would be perfect for Jennifer Lopez, and it seems like perfect timing especially considering that 'American Idol' is coming to an end. It'll keep both Jennifer Lopez and her fans occupied, and even I personally wouldn't mind going to see Jennifer Lopez in Vegas. I think this is the perfect platform for Jennifer, because she's currently in a music industry, where it is hard for an artist her age to sell. Plus, it'll be something exciting for both the fans and Jennifer Lopez. Also, I like the idea of touring in Vegas, because in a form the artist is still getting a chance to settle down, as oppose to traveling. Either way, Jennifer Lopez suits Vegas well, because J. Lo has always had incredible performance skills.

As a matter of fact, I think many artist of Jennifer's age in the industry should do Vegas. Times in the music industry are different, and doing a Vegas Residency could really bring in a lot of money for the artist, compared to releasing an album. This way, an artist such as Jennifer Lopez, who has tons of hits can perform both her old hits and new singles. I mean, the reasoning most don't support a particular older artist in the music industry, is because they feel their style musically isn't the same. This is usually due to trying to fit in the music industry. With this residency, fans will be able to reminisce on old hits, and possibly new singles for her younger audience. Wow, this is a successful move for J. Lo!
