Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Ciara Reveals 'Give Me Love' Cover Art/ Releases 'Give Me Love' As The New Single From 'Jackie'?

Recently, Ciara released new single, 'Give Me Love.' As announced earlier, the single is planned to hit Urban formats, later in June.

The single itself left many disappointed as the choice for the album's next single, only because of the particular format that it'll be debuting. I don't think this particular single, will interest R&B fans of Ciara, only because this is much of a song fulfilling for Ciara's pop audience. Many feel that Ciara should just return, to fully promoting 'Dance Like We're Making Love.' I feel, before the release of 'Jackie' Ciara's label were in a rush, of finding a hit for the project, because it was like they were releasing tracks from the album every other day. In fact, 'Dance Like We're Making Love' would appeal more to Ciara's R&B audience, than 'Give Me Love.'

I think at this point, with a little promotion, this single (Give Me Love) could have more potential, because I just don't think Ciara could really make any successful moves with this track, because it isn't a banger, and that's what fans are looking for, as a follow-up for 'I Bet.' After 'I Bet,' things quickly fell apart, and Ciara promoted the single late, giving her less time to promote her other single releases.

Anyway, would 'Give Me Love' be the 4th, 3rd, or 2nd single? Hopefully, this single turns out to do decent things for 'Jackie' as the album could use all the help it can get.

The best option though? Promote 'Dance Like We're Making Love'
