Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Madonna Shares Her Take On Her Kiss With Drake/ What She Would've Told Her Younger Self?

Recently during an interactive chat online with Romeo on "Saturday Night Line", Madonna particpated in a segment titled "#AskAnythingChat."

The singer was asked various questions from fans online. As the singer is known for her controversial ways, when being asked about the topic Drake, she had nothing but negative words toward the rapper. The singer was asked one question regarding Drake, which was her thoughts personally on her kiss with Drake, as Madonna never shared her take, and the singer responded, "I kissed a girl and I liked it." The singer was later asked, what she would tell her young self, and she says in response that she would never kiss Drake, no matter how much he begged her.

I'm not understanding the point of starting controversy toward a topic, that many have already moved on from. It was clear that this was more of a publicity stunt, toward the subject, and I thought it was rude what Madonna had to say regarding Drake, especially considering how kindly he responded toward the kiss, while the media responded negatively. Some say this was all fun and games, while based on her facial expression I would disagree. Though Madonna has a questionable sense of humor, I think she should've lighten up if this was more of a joke. If so, fans probably wouldn't have bashed her for the comment. It seems Madonna always has publicity stunts, during an album campaign, which is why it is usually easy for many to dislike her personally. I think Madonna could've reponded more maturely toward the subject, instead of making it seem as if Drake pratically begged her to kiss him. On top of that, what was up the "I kissed a girl" comment, and what is she exactly referring to? Is she implying, that Drake is a girl, or that he kisses like a girl? At least, she did say she liked the kiss.. Whoo, this is quite confusing, and it's hard to say if Madonna was even joking or not.

It seems fans of the rapper didn't have many pleasant comments for Madonna, taking to response on social media. Take a look below:
