Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Iggy Azalea Cancels 'The Great Escape' Tour/ Plans To Tour In 2016 When New Record Is Released?

I figure many just didn't see it for Iggy after all.

After a recent pushback due to 'Production Delays' it seems Iggy Azalea is finally just canceling her tour period. Ticket holders recieved emails saying, "The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience."

Though no official statement has been released as to why of the cancellation, I'm sure it's for the obvious reasons, such as low ticket sales. I'm sure many just weren't buying, and of course this wouldn't have been a good look for Iggy. It wasn't best that Iggy Azalea went on tour anyway. Most artist usually start touring, once they're around their third album. At least, that was the original way for some. Many do usually tour, on their first album now, but I, myself am not sure of how that works, because I know most artist usually like to perform their hits, and around your first album, you occasionally only have at least one hit.

The only hit Iggy really has going for her is 'Fancy' and 'Black Widow.' Other than pushbacks, the tour went quickly downhill months ago, when Tinashe and Nick Jonas removed themselves as opening acts.

I'm guessing the hype just got to her (about touring), but I guess it would be best to tour, around the period that you have a new album released. That way, you still have buzz going for you as you begin the stages of touring. I'm hoping this new project once again brings a hit for Iggy, so it'll have a positive impact on the ticket sales.
