Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Janet Jackson Is Now Signed To Alantic Records/ Planned To Release Her New Album On July 10th?

As it seems that we may never get a new Janet Jackson album to some, it seems fans have recieved some exciting news, from numerous sources.

Recently, a paper leaked, that revealed a few dates from upcoming releases off of "Alantic Records," which also included a Janet Jackson album date. The album is said to be released on July 10th, and while most of the information seems legit, ...as Janet Jackson said there is no project, until you hear it from her lips. Anyway, this wouldn't be the first let-down for fans of Janet Jackson anyway, as we've been fooled various times, to believe that a Janet Jackson comeback would soon happen.

While I personally didn't believe the released information, it seems a fan forum titled janet.club has already denied it, saying that this was actually a photo from a record store. It seems FYE have pre-orders for an upcoming Janet Jackson album, and the record store has already confirmed the information. Now, this is actually quite serious, especially if the store is already allowing pre-orders. I mean, this doesn't seem much like a scheme anymore, because wouldn't it be stupid to charge fans for an album, that you already know isn't coming? (At least at that particular date) I was beginning to wonder if Janet Jackson was even on a record label anyway. I'm wondering if this was planned to be a surprise release. Anyway, I'm going to try not to give my hopes up, and I'll try to keep this date in mind, in case it isn't actually true.
