Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Janet Jackson Releasing New Music Within Thirty Days/ Will Be Releasing Music Through BMG?

Ever since announcing that she would be releasing new music and doing a world tour, not many have heard any further details on when we could actually expect the new music, or even some of the simplest things, such as which label Janet Jackson is signed with.

According to 'Billboard' the singer plans to have new music released, within thirty days, and the source also released that Janet Jackson's new material, will be released through BMG.

Hopefully, Janet Jackson reaches her fans anticipation level. I feel this project can easily go downhill, without the proper support, and of course the right single choices as well. Since Janet Jackson has been on a hiatus, I'm not quite sure myself on what particular sound many fans would like from Janet Jackson. I personally just want new material period. I feel like Janet Jackson has always came with fresh ideas, and she usually reaches her potential level musically, but it just doesn't get its proper support. I feel, since her Superbowl Halftime incident, much has been different for Janet Jackson when it comes to releasing music. It doesn't exactly get the same support from the same outlets that it may have at one time. Also, many U.S. Radio formats usually give older artist an older time, when it comes to supporting their material.

Since Janet has been on a break recently, I feel that this has done much for her. This has possibly really shown her blueprint in the music industry, and since so many are waiting for this return, I'm sure Janet will get the right kind of treatment for this project. I mean, many people are actually awaiting for her new music. Maybe this could teach a thing or two to these older artist in the industry. I mean, sometimes it's best to take a break, rather than continuously release music. That way, many can be able to appreciate your music more. As everyone knows, the saying is, "You Don't Know What You've Got Until It's Gone." Anyway I'm hoping the anticipation stays on a high level, and that Janet hopefully delivers.

We're so excited. Her official site hinted that she could possibly be readying a modern day Rhythm Nation album. Can't say, this isn't the best moment for one, especially with much of the troubles the world is experiencing. Music speaks to everyone, and at least that means we'll be getting a message, different from what we mostly hear today, which is the topic of sex (in music).
