Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Janet Jackson Announces 'Unbreakable' Tour/ Reveals The Dates For First Leg In North America:

After the singer had announced her upcoming world tour and album, no further details were released until now.

Taken to social media, the singer shared a link to her website which announced tour dates for her 'Unbreakable' tour, along with a promo poster to support.

I'm glad to see Janet Jackson touring once again. When hearing the news, I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to see her again, but this is such an highly anticipated tour. I was mainly looking forward to the music. I became a fan of the singer at a late time, compared to most. Around the time after Michael Jackson died, I became a fan of the singer. I was so interested by her work, and I see her as one of the most influential entertainers currently.

I feel like this is turning out to be a perfect time for her, because the singer has been on a hiatus for a while, since getting married, and I feel this has really given the singer time to rekindle with herself on another level. I did feel she lost a lot of respect from the industry after her Superbowl Halftime show, which is why most of her recent material hasn't been performing well commercially as expected. I think this break, has really helped many see Janet on another level, and really acknowledge her influence in the music industry, because as you can see, many have missed her since her hiatus. I'm glad she is being seen in a better light, than previously overall. I just think the hiatus turned out to be a smart idea for the singer, because most of the burdens for the singer have been removed since she has been missed.

Janet's leading single, 'No Sleep' is slated to be released by the end of June, and the singer's album is planned to be released in fall. Tickets for the North American dates go on sale starting June 22nd on Janetjackson.com.

As for now, what songs are you excited to hear Janet Jackson perform? Also, what do you think of the 'Unbreakable' poster? It bothered me when I first saw it, because it didn't exactly look realistic. It seemed photoshopped, especially with the white hair, and the awkward position her face is in. For songs, I definitely want to hear "That's The Way Love Goes," and "Feedback." It's clear Janet and her team have much confidence this era, especially to announce the tour, despite no new music currently. I've never been so excited (in terms of music)

Hopefully, more dates are announced in the U.S. She can't leave VA hanging like that. Possibly I can convince my parents to go to North Carolina.
