Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Ciara Readies Her "Dancegasmic" Dance Like We're Making Love Video/ Directed By David Meyers

Recently, Ciara announced further details on her new single, 'Dance Like We're Making Love.' The singer has revealed on social media, that the upcoming music video for the single will be directed by Dave Meyers (whose credits include Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott).

In related news, the singer shared a clip on Instagram introducing Galen Hooks, who will be the choreographer of the music video. The singer has described the music video as 'Dancegasmic.'

Ciara has always been an artist that delivered, in terms of dancing. It's clear, that there isn't much rising left for 'Jackie' as timing for each single release is going slowly. 'Give Me Love' was originally announced as the follow-up of 'I Bet' until Ciara confirmed that it would be 'Dance Like We're Making Love.' I can't say the singer will expect big numbers, alone for the fact that much time has passed since the album's original release. What has happen for the album, has most likely already happen in terms of sales. Still, I'm proud of Ciara for still trying to continue the 'Jackie' era despite its low opening sales. I feel Ciara still wants to make the best of this era, and she has the potential, but just not the solid material to help showcase her talents. Ciara has always been seen as a unique artist to me, and it's sad that she falls under the category of artist such as Keri Hilson and Keyshia Cole regarding success, when she has quite enough potential to fill up my living room. Still, I know this video is going to be epic, and I certainly can't wait to see what Ciara has in store for the upcoming visuals.

I've always imagined the video to be of Ciara in a dance studio, with Chris Brown playing her love interest. The video would just consist of sexual dancing, between the two. I think it would do a lot of buzz for Ciara, especially if Chris Brown literally played her love interest.
