Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Kanye West, Janet Jackson To Headline The 'iHeartRadio Music Festival'

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will return this September, and performers have already been announced.

Taking to Twitter, iHeartRadio shared a commercial, featuring Ryan Seacrest, who announces the line-up, which includes names, Kanye West, The Weeknd, and Janet Jackson.

Since Janet Jackson is a headliner, I'm excited to hear the singer's setlist. The singer has made one televised apperance, since the announcement of new music, so I'm hoping Janet Jackson makes the best of this performance. Considering Janet is readying a fall album release, I question if the setlist for her 'Unbreakable' world tour, will be similar to her 'Up Close And Personal' tour, where the singer performed her greatest hits. Still, I'm sure by September, the singer will have more new material. I'm just excited to see Janet Jackson back on stage, meaning I'm ready to see every little detail. Hopefully, the audience is respectful. Though Janet is a legend, I think she's an underrated artist considering her credits. Like, many in general don't know Janet as the performer, but as Michael's brother or think of the Superbowl 2004 Halftime Show. Anyway, I can't wait to see her 'No Sleeep' performance, because it's likely she'll be performing it. This is great promo for her, and she may debut new material at the fest. Great platform to do so! Exciting day for the Janfam. More details on the fest below:

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will take place September 18, and September 19. The festival will broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations and stream live on Yahoo screen nightly at 7:30 p.m. PST.  It will also be taped for a two-night special, airing Sept. 29 and 30 on The CW.
