Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Chris Brown Announces New Album Title

Backstage at his ‘One Hell Of A Nite’ tour, Chris Brown was accompanied by his parents and his daughter. The singer performed in his home state last night in Bristow, Virginia.

Chris Brown announced on Twitter, that he’s titling his new album, ‘Royalty,’ in honor of his daughter. Many hoped fatherhood would help mature the singer, as Chris has had many ups and downs throughout his career. I’ve definitely noticed maturity from the singer. I think fatherhood has really allowed Chris to see things through a different light. I think this really sums up his current state, as he’s recently been enjoying fatherhood. Very sweet, and simplistic title.

Though the singer titled the album, ‘Royalty,’ I don’t think this leads to the impression that the album will contain many tracks, where Chris sings about Royalty. As a listener, I’m sure that would be a boring formula. I’m sure there will be a few dance numbers from Chris. Other than fatherhood, Chris Brown went through a public breakup with Karrueche. (Not that Chris may sing about that experience. That was more on an example of other topics Chris may sing about) Many have brought to attention that the first single from Brown’s new album is titled, ‘Liquor.’ While I get the point, I’m sure each song won’t relate to Royalty. Well, bring on the new music! Chris Brown usually doesn’t disappoint musically. Well, I’m wishing him luck!

Tid-Bit: I’m curious if Royalty will be on the album cover, as that would help represent the album title. (Though it probably may not be the best idea. He probably shouldn’t be exposing his daughter too much to the public, as she’s only 1 year old)
