Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Tyrese Asks Fans To Purchase 10 Copies Of 'Black Rose' For 10-Minute Conversation Via Skype:

Last month, Tyrese celebrated ‘Black Rose’ debuting at #1 in 15 countries. The singer is now planning to donate 25% of the sales to charity (more than likely for ‘Breast Cancer Research’).

Tyrese is asking fans to purchase ten copies of ‘Black Rose.’ If 10 copies are purchased, the singer will personally call each fan and speak for 10 minutes (via Skype) about anything.

I don’t think a 10 minute Skype chat is a reward many are willing to purchase 10 copies of ‘Black Rose’ for. At least Tyrese is putting the money to a great cause, such as ‘Breast Cancer Research,’ though I just can’t imagine many purchasing ten copies of ‘Black Rose,’ just for 10 minutes of conversation with Tyrese. Maybe I have a different point of view as I’m not a huge fan of Tyrese’s, though I wouldn’t be willing to purchase ten copies just for a Skype call with any favorite artist of mine. Personally speaking, that’s just putting a lot of money to waste. Tyrese’s fan base consist of an older audience, meaning that many would need more persuasion or better reasoning for purchasing 10 copies.

Tyrese says that he’ll be revealing details for those who can’t purchase 10 copies, so I’ll keep you updated. The singer has shared emails he’s received from fans who’ve already purchased 10 copies, and one who purchased 26 copies (Tyrese spoke with the fan today, and shared a clip from the Skype call on Instagram). Well, are you willing to purchase 10 copies of ‘Black Rose’ for a 10 minute conversation with Tyrese? He’ll be speaking with fans tomorrow. I’ll stay updated with the details for those who don’t want to buy 10 copies.

Fans - I can't wait to talk to you 1 on 1 this Tuesday
