Jordin Sparks Visits 'The Breakfast Club'
I wish this interview was taken at a higher level of professionalism. Many know ‘The Breakfast Club’ is known to get off-topic at times when it comes to speaking with their guest. For example, Charlamagne Tha God continuously asked Jordin questions about her ex, Jason Derulo, asking if Jordin watched Jason’s ‘Cheyenne’ video? And made jokes about the singer’s ex. With some guest, Charlamagne Tha God tends to get off-topic, asking more about their personal life, than their initial reasoning for visiting ‘The Breakfast Club.’ For Jordin’s case, the singer visited ‘The Breakfast Club,’ in promotion of ‘Right Here Right Now.’ Jordin did get a chance to speak about ‘Right Here Right Now,’ as she spoke about Salaami Remi, a producer she worked with on the album.’The singer also spoke on having more creative control, than when she first debuted. She also noted that she’s always wanted to sing R&B, (as she grew up listening to R&B).
I think Jordin Sparks handled the interview well, especially considering that ‘The Breakfast Club’ was more interested in her personal life. And I felt more questions focused on her relationship with Sage The Gemini. I’m glad she got the chance to speak about the album, and a few of the songs off of it. I could not imagine appearing on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ as the hosts are very nosey. Usually, they will kiss-up to A-list celebrities, and hold the interview at a higher level of professionalism. I wish they would have gone that particular route with Jordin. All in all, it wasn’t bad, especially for The Breakfast Club’s standards anyway.
