Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Kanye West Says That Bill Cosby Is Innocent/ ‘#KanyeIsCanceledParty’ Is Trending

Excuse me while I laugh. I think Kanye should allow his team to handle his social media accounts. This is the second time recently that the rapper’s name has trended over something he wrote on Twitter. Earlier this year, Kanye was trending because of his comments to Wiz Khalifa and his (Kanye’s) ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, which she later responded to, leaving shocked reactions. If we’re being honest, Kanye was disrespectful for what he wrote about Amber Rose and even brought up her son. Due to Amber Rose’s response, it led to a funny trend on social media. Now, ‘#KanyeIsCancelledParty’ is trending, as he recently wrote that Bill Cosby is innocent.

Notice that his album is supposed to be coming out very soon. He shared when the album was then titled, ‘Swish,’ that it would come out on February 11th.  An artist’s personal life or thoughts can sometimes affect how the public views you. It depends on what the artist is saying, especially if it’s something many don’t agree with. This would be one of those examples. So many women have step forward, admitting that Bill Cosby has raped them, etc. Over 50 women have stepped forward at that.

Guess people are finally seeing Kanye’s stupidity. I was actually looking forward to hearing his new album too.  Maybe I’ll still give it a listen, if it’ll be available on Spotify. What are your thoughts on Kanye’s comment? I’m actually surprised that this was the last straw for many people (regarding Kanye).
