Adele Rejects Offer To Perform At 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Adele, whose on the North American leg of her tour, spoke to her audience in Los Angeles on the rumor that she would be headlining the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime show.
The singer was met with criticism by social media, as many don't believe she's suited to perform. That would include Adele herself, as she revealed that she rejected the offer. "I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don't really put on… I don't dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no," she said.
Don't give your hopes up on Adele headlining, as the singer wants more dance numbers before agreeing to perform. "Maybe next time, for my next album, because I’m going to do a dance album next time. So maybe I’ll do it then," she continues.
Personally, she's making the right decision. The singer wouldn't bring enthusiasm. However, Jennifer Lopez or Usher are great suggestions. Both are all-around performers. It was reported last year that NFL were either considering Britney Spears or Taylor Swift to perform. In terms of success this year, Drake or Rihanna may be up for consideration. Who would you like to see perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?
