Usher Visits “Jimmy Kimmel Live” In Promo Of “Hands Of Stone” And New Album
Usher's new film, “Hands Of Stone” hits theaters today. The singer visited “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where he revealed the preperation for his portrayal as Sugar Ray Leonard. “I trained for a year, boxing. And in preparation I really wanted to understand what it was to think, move and feel like a boxer,” he said. The film could lead to many having respect for Usher as an actor.
While the interview centered on his role, he announced on the late night show that his forthcoming album, “Hard II Love” is now available to pre-order worldwide.
Once pre-ordered, fans will be able to hear two new tracks, “Missin U” and “Champions” which is featured in his new film. For long-time fans, “Missin U” is a winner, as the chorus is reminiscent to the sound of his diamond-selling album, “Confessions.” The track overall blends traditional R&B with chopped and screwed hip-hop.
And “Champions” which sees the singer crossing over musically. The song features fellow actor Édgar Ramírez, who brings along a Spanish flare which is also present in the production.
