Flavor In The Street

Hello World! Flavor In The Street was something I wanted to do, because I felt I had grown since my previous websites. I feel like I was seeing blogging from a different perspective. At one time, I saw this as more of something I did for fun, and I still continue to see blogging as this, but I also have grown a passion for it. I'm getting a platform, where I get to fully express my views on topics in music. I feel like my opinion is rarely heard, and I want to be viewed as the voice of my generation soon. We never get a platform to talk, and it's now just the beginning.

The idea of Flavor In The Street was just to restart my brand. I had gotten the idea of the title from one of my favorite shows, "Living Single" along with the slang, 'Word On The Street.' As many of you know, Khadijah James had owned a magazine company titled, "Flavor." I got the idea by combining the two, which later birthed 'Flavor In The Street.'

I'm quite a hard-working kid. I manage to keep my grades together, while running this blog. I've never quite looked into adding more writers to help grow the brand, but of course I'm open to trying new ideas. I plan to adventure quite a lot when I get older, and my taste in music varies.

Ebro From Hot 97 Reports Drake Will Battle Eminem (If Necessary)

Ebro Darden shared the conversation he had with Drake while he was at the OVO Fest. Darden told the rapper that Eminem is rumored to be preparing a diss track aimed at him.

However, Drake was in disbelief at the rumor. In response he said, "That’s not gonna happen. He’d never do that and if he did, I’ve got something for him too." Darden revealed their private conversation on Hot 97, and his co-hosts were in shock by the rapper's response.

The radio host later weighed in on social media over Drake's comment. He doesn't believe that the Toronto native would diss Eminem as he has respect for him:

This raises the question: Who would you support in a rap battle between Drake and Eminem?

Slim Shady once considering dissing Drake, however it was during a darker period in the rapper's life where he dealt with drug abuse. Along with Drizzy, he listed Kanye West and Lil Wayne as rappers who he wanted to diss at one time. He revealed that it was out of jealousy saying, "Singling Kanye and Wayne out at that time period, they were the ones killing it the most to me and it hurt. I'd pop a CD in and be like 'f*** man, I’m not doing this no more." (via Power 106)

Also, Joe Budden is currently beefing with Drake, who is signed to Eminem's record label. The rapper could very well be coming to Budden's defense, if he did intend on releasing a diss track. Many are persuading Drake to back down, as Eminem is heavy competition. Let the rap battle begin!
