Prince, who removed his catalog from streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music, could expect a return. His estate is nearing streaming deals, Bloomberg reports.
The estate is trying to close the deal ahead of the Grammy Awards. The award ceremony is planning a tribute to Prince and have reportedly approached Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and The Weeknd. Having the deal completed beforehand is thought to be a “great promotional opportunity.”
Prince’s representatives have all but finished a deal for songs such as “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry.”
