R&B quartet Xscape haven't wasted any time since reuniting. Following their first performance in nearly two decades at the BET Awards, Xscape performed at the Essence Music Festival this past Sunday (July 2). Despite a 15 year hiatus, the group still remains in high demand. Xscape even took to Instagram after their performance to apologize as the number of people who wanted to enter the Essence Superlounge exceeded the room's capacity. Organizers clearly didn't predict the group to draw such a large crowd, but the night had proven they belonged on the main stage.
This was a much better showing than at the BET Awards. Nerves could've been high considering they hadn't performed together in many years. The chemistry was great and they excelled here. Watch below:
