Days after the arrival of the long-awaited Astroworld album, Travis Scott has unleashed the biblical-themed visual for his star-studded track “Stop Trying to Be God.” Directed by veteran Dave Meyers (who’s also helmed recent visuals for Kendrick Lamar and Missy Elliott), the symbolic clip opens with La Flame walking his sheep as God looks down on him. Scott tries to play God after being resurrected in a hellfire, becoming a prophet who baptizes young people in water. But the real God (also played by Travis) is not amused and eventually strikes him down in a scorching blaze.

The cinematic clip includes cameos from featured artist James Blake and a gold-painted Kylie Jenner. In addition to Blake, the track also features Earth, Wind & Fire's Philip Bailey, Kid Cudi and none other than Stevie Wonder on harmonica.
